A community tree program is being held in Colorado will be discussed here in details. As Teej, the great festival of Hindu women, is approaching, the women sisters of Colorado have gathered in one place and are dancing and eating collectively.
Coordinator Dhan Poudel has said that Sister Group Colorado is going to organize Darkhane program so that women and sisters who are in migration do not feel alone and all the sisters gather at one place and exchange joys and sorrows on one day in a year.
He claims that such programs will help children born and brought up in migration and locals in the recognition and preservation of Nepali language and culture.
The event will be held this Saturday, August 13th from 4pm to 10pm (3295 W 72nd. Ave, Westminster Co. 80030). Coordinator Paudel has requested everyone to participate in the program based on this information that an event has been made on Facebook about the program and if anyone has not been able to follow the organization’s Facebook.
She has also requested that the representatives of active associations in Colorado, intellectuals, dignitaries, philanthropists, businessmen, ordinary people, have been invited to participate in the program, as they have been invited with open invitation.
