The RPP meeting ended with important decisions will be discussed here. A two-day meeting of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Central Working Committee was held in Kathmandu on Thursday with some important decisions being taken to ensure the right to vote in the upcoming election has done.
The Bank has called on the General Secretary to fight for the monarchy, Hindu Rashtra and people’s livelihood and against corruption. It has been decided to form a movement preparation committee under the coordination of Dhawal Shamsher Rana.
RPP concludes that the explanatory remarks of the MCC Compact Agreement recently passed by the Parliament of Nepal are not a legal part of the MCC Agreement. It is also stated that the RPP has maintained that the MCC should not have been passed in the status quo.
The meeting condemned Russia’s attack on Ukraine. The meeting was attended by the outgoing chairpersons of the party Pashupati Shamsher Jabra, Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani, senior leaders, party office bearers, central members and chairpersons of the state working committees.
The decisions made by the meeting are as follows :
1. The meeting also approved the political report on the current political situation and future action plan presented by Chairman Rajendra Lingden, the report on the secretariat presented by the head of the secretariat and party vice-chairman Hemjung Gurung and the report on preparations for the local elections presented by party general secretary Bhuvan Pathak. Similarly, the reports submitted by the state chairpersons on behalf of the state working committee have been passed with modifications.
2. To make the Central Working Committee up to 251 members keeping in view the wider interests of the party.
3. The meeting nominated by the chairperson in consultation with the senior leaders and office bearers of the party has delegated the authority to form the steering committee, performance committee and advisory committee.
4. The RPP concludes that the explanatory remarks on MCC passed by the Parliament are not a legal part of the MCC Agreement.
5. A committee comprising General Secretary Rajendra Gurung and Central Member Sirjana Rani Verma has been formed under the convenership of Vice-Chairman Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan to take necessary decisions regarding the disputed or inactive working committees at district and all levels. The committee has been given a deadline of April 22, 2078 to complete the work.
6. It has been decided to demand the government to immediately ensure the right to vote in the upcoming election for Nepalis who have the right to vote but are in exile.
7. It is inappropriate for one country to invade another to solve a mutual problem between two countries. RPP condemns Russia’s continued attacks on neighboring Ukraine
8. The system of registering parties by the Election Commission, providing election symbols to the parties, depriving the parties that have participated in the elections by using the symbols provided by the Commission itself from using the party election symbols in the local level elections, giving election symbols to only six parties is authoritarian, discriminatory and undemocratic. Regarding the local level election, RPP has decided to issue a memorandum drawing the attention of the commission to protect the right to get the election symbol of RPP and to create public pressure to create pressure for the party’s election symbol.
9. It has been decided to form an agitation preparation committee under the coordination of General Minister Dr. Dhawal Shamsher Rana to restore the monarchy and Hindu Rashtra, fight against corruption and make people’s struggle on the issue of livelihood.
10. The party has passed a special action plan for the upcoming local elections to ensure greater success in the upcoming local elections.
A. To make the party organization strong and active.
B. To field candidates at all local levels.
C. To conduct nationwide door-to-door, corner meeting program to make the general public aware about the party’s policy, ideas, principles and action plan.
D. To conduct election-centric training at the central, state and district levels of the party.
E. To select the candidate within the first week of April on the recommendation of the district working committee and the committee under the local level.
F. Encourage and continue the work of nationwide party entry.
Is. To mobilize all the power of the party in the local level elections.
11. All Central and State officials and members will be assigned responsibilities within a week for the preparation of local level elections in all 165 constituencies, all local levels and wards.
12. The first meeting after the General Convention directed the sister organizations of the party to submit the action plan to complete the General Convention within 3 months within 15 days, It has been decided to dissolve and form an organizing committee or to give instructions to present in the meeting of the office bearers or performance committee in consultation with the concerned organizations and to use the preparations for the general convention of the sister organizations as local level election preparations.
13. The meeting called for the continuation of the ongoing dialogue by reviewing the efforts being made for unity, front or cooperation with like-minded people.
With other so-called big parties failing to elect a new and inclusive leadership and being enslaved by foreigners, the number of people joining the party has been on the rise since Janajati was elected RPP president. .
There are still a lot of timely policy, program and future action plan decisions for RPP. This is something that the responsible officials of the party need to pay attention to in time. If the party and party organizations can be activated by understanding the aspirations of the people and the opportunity given by time, it seems that the country and the people and time can give responsibility to RPP with great confidence.
